My Story: How I Became an Astrology Coach in Brasil
Welcome to EYE Journal! So happy to be able to connect! My name is Giulia and I'm an Astrologer, Writer and Coach. Like many, I was a skeptic of astrology for most of my life. As I would read my weekly horoscope (usually in waiting rooms), I found myself slightly amused but more doubtful- I didn't understand how 8 billions souls could fit under 12 zodiac signs and how an Astrologist could be so confident in defining people's characters. Astrology continued to be a source of entertainment rather than enlightenment for me until I felt the calling to dive deeper.
Astrology is the Study of the Soul Through the Language of the Sky
One day, while home sick, I was searching for new podcasts to pass the time. Curled up with a cup of chamomile, I decided to listen to a podcast from Yoga Girl about astrology. By the end of the episode, I was hooked. As I listened, I was keenly aware that I was being reminded of what was already ingrained in me - the teaching and philosophy spoke to every part of my soul. From then on, I dedicated myself to being a student of astrology and devoured all I could get my hands on- books, courses, articles, and podcasts.
Astrology has taught me to trust the cosmic timing of major life events, periods of transition, and fundamental lessons in growth. Easier said than done, I know! Believe me, there's still many situations where I need to remind myself to loosen my grip and just allow the cosmic timing to play out.
Over the years of studying astrology, I have learned how to understand and embody the lessons of our personal birth charts. Taking action can be called for, but sometimes you have to wait and allow life to flow and unfold in divine timing. You can intellectually understand your chart, but there’s another layer of devotion to emotionally and physically allow the teaching to be implemented and integrated. This is why I expanded my work into coaching. To support my clients into a deeper understanding of what their chart is trying to communicate while remaining focused on their dreams and goals.
Astrology Felt Like I Unlocked a Secret that Needed to be Shared
Today, my path has led me to a life beyond my wildest dreams. I relocated from California to Brasil living in the Minas Gerais mountains with my partner. When I look back on my journey on how (and most importantly when) I got here, I can understand the timing of it all. Packing my life into three suitcases and buying a one way ticket for my doggie Mala and I, naturally came together when my stars were aligned to be closer with my partner in Brasil. It made it easier for me to trust the process when I could see that the timing and lessons in my chart supported the move.
The desire to explore and learn about my natal chart has had a central role in my personal growth and professional development. Since I started studying astrology, I have unveiled past wounds, healed trauma, celebrated my gifts, and given myself permission to understand my soul's direction. In return, I help guide my clients through their own personal journey and transformation. Time and time again, astrology has proven to support my clients in getting clear with their direction, motivation, and overall understanding of their journey in life.
